The 4 week Health & Fitness Challenge is a results driven and energetic fitness and fat loss workout program that includes nutrition, motivation, accountability and dynamic Metafit™ and Circuit training, all designed to get you the body that you want in a safe, fun and non-intimidating environment.
Our training is constantly varied including functional movements executed through high intensity interval training (HIIT) which is tailored to each individual’s level of fitness. Fit Camp is results driven, so our workouts are designed to keep you performing at your peak. There is no getting stuck in the same routine. We teach the proper execution of functional exercises/movements. We combine strength/agility training with metabolic conditioning, a combination necessary to take your fitness to the next level and to help you discover your true inner athlete. Fit Camp excels at adapting our workouts so that anyone, no matter their fitness level or age can reach new heights of fitness.
The Health & Fitness Challenge focus is on a wide range of skill categories; cardiovascular & respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility and balance and easily adaptable to men and women of all fitness levels, of all ages. Businessmen and women, housewives, teachers, children, and even grandparents will all complete the same workouts but at their own level of intensity.

Prior to starting the Health & Fitness Challenge:
Each camper attends an orientation, fills out a health questionnaire, and receives a complete body analysis before participating. At the start of camp, everyone participates in a fitness assessment to create a baseline by which to measure your progress toward your goals.
All you need to bring to camp is yourself, an exercise mat, water bottle and a GREAT ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!
The Health & Fitness Challenge is essentially about 3 things!!!
Metafit is a bodyweight standalone HIIT workout. No fancy moves, no equipment, just big compound movements, performed flat out for maximum results.
There is no need to make exercise more complicated or longer, simply make it more efficient.

- Fun - There is great camaraderie and fun! It’s not all about some drill sergeant yelling at you (although we will encourage you). The sessions are approached with a fun attitude and we encourage all participants to do the same. There is great fun to be had in doing things you thought you could or would never do!
- Nutrition & Fitness - Fit Camp is for beginner to advanced fitness levels. As long as you have no complications from injury or illness you will survive. We cater for individual fitness level differences. The fitness gains you will see are amazing!!! People start off not being able to run a mile and end up wanting to run a marathon. 11 GREAT REASONS WE CHOSE METAFIT TRAINING
- GREAT FOR BUSY PEOPLE - Metafit stimulates similar or better physical improvements than moderate intensity continuous training (CMT). The total time commitment required to achieve ideal fitness levels is substantially lower than traditional methods. This is great news, given that “lack of time remains the most commonly cited barrier to regular exercise participation.
- EFFECTIVE FOR FAT LOSS - A study published in American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation cited 62 overweight and obese subjects who performed HIIT with strength training two to three times per week over nine months and saw significant improvement in both waist circumference measurements and overall body fat. In contrast, longer exercise sessions exceeding 60 minutes stimulates over production of stress hormones, like cortisol. High levels of cortisol contributes to the storage of abdominal fat.

HGH slows down aging by increasing exercise capacity, increasing bone density, increasing muscle mass, and decreasing body fat. In contrast, overdoing long bouts of traditional cardio can actually damage your mitochondria and accelerate aging.
- BUILDS ENDURNACE FASTER - With HIIT, maximal exercise capacity (endurance) is increased in a very short time. It has been shown to improve VO2 max (a marker of aerobic fitness) faster then long duration cardio.
- PREVENTS AND CONTROLS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE - A study published by the American Journal of Cardiovascular Disease showed women at high risk for hypertension saw greater improvements to blood pressure after just 16 weeks of HIIT, compared to the group that performed 16 weeks of CMT training. Improvements to insulin sensitivity, stiff arteries, and cardiorespiratory fitness were superior among the HIIT group.
- REDUCES RISK OF DIABETES AND HEART DISEASE - It’s well known that traditional cardio produces these benefits, but research proves that if you are overweight or obese you can still reduce your cardiometabolic risk with HIIT. This means you can still get the life-saving benefits of cardio without a large time commitment.
- SUPPRESSES YOUR APPETITE - In a study on the effects HIIT on fat loss, Australian researchers cited a lower perceived appetite after HIIT training. Other researchers suggest this is partly due to release of an satiety hormone called peptide YY, as well as lowered levels of an appetite stimulant, ghrelin, after high intensity work. It gets even better because HIIT works best when paired with a progressive strength training program. Studies suggest that strength training has also been proven to release gut hormones that regulate appetite during and after exercise.

This is because cutting calories and excessive traditional cardio (CMT) seems to encourage muscle loss. Loss of lean, metabolically active muscle tissue results in a decreased metabolism, which makes the fat come right back. Fortunately, strength training and HIIT allow you to preserve your precious muscle tissue and push your metabolism in overdrive.
